Favourite Rock/Pop Albums
The following is my first attempt to list my
favourite all time rock/pop albums in some kind of order.
I use the term rock/pop very loosely as the
following list also includes folk and, dare I say it, country.
Only original albums are considered and therefore
Greatest Hits and Best Of albums do not qualify.
This is a work in progress and will be added to as
I remember those old and dusty albums which I have misplaced or long forgotten. A
second list of artists and albums still to be re-assessed is also included.
The present list of 49 (with many more to be
considered) comprises 29 artists from the United Kingdom, 19 from USA/Canada
and one from France. You will note the high number of solo artists reflecting my
general interest in singer-songwriters.
