Intense Light The light shone brightly, Not an outward light, but one shining in our hearts. It sprang to the surface With our first issue of love. A first tender kiss. A quivering of the lips in a passionate embrace Could it ever be gone? This shape must stay as I love it now?
An overwhelming ray of light, An effervescent controlled shaft Living within our hearts. It comes to the surface in her smile, An issuing forth of happiness From a deeply embedded soul. Could it ever be gone? This shape must stay as I love it now.
The water lapping, a peaceful silence Encompassing the sand, and grasping us Wrapping our silence in a huge hand Swelling the lovers to peace. A feeling of comfort An internal care of pleasure Could it ever be gone? This shape must stay as I love it now.
We have made that light ours, It heats up our souls as one, United in a warmth of feeling That mere temptation would never know, For mere temptation is nothing but an ideal pleasure No longer for us to explore It could never be gone This shape was to stay and I would love it for ever. |
