Watershed - 4

Firstly let me say there's nothing wrong with this album. The problem is kd has been releasing work like this for a number of years. So don't expect anything ground-breaking.

The voice is as silky as ever, but the material just lets the album down. Sadly kd has produced a pretty but mundane set of songs. Her voice is so spot on that sadly it only really lends itself to ballads. The songs are well crafted but they fail to stretch the imagination.
